2017 NEC Requirements for Limited Energy/Low Voltage

This course focuses on the most important technical low voltage systems to the electrical contractor. Subjects include the NEC rules that apply to low-voltage and limited-energy systems that most people are not aware of, definitions, the general NEC installation requirements, and specific NEC requirements.

This class is designed to provide you with the information necessary to understand the changes made for the 2017 National Electrical Code® (NEC®). There were over 4,000 proposals submitted recommending changes from the 2017 NEC, and, as a result, hundreds of updates that will affect us all.

2017 NEC Requirements for Basic Motor Controls

Understanding Basic Motor Controls will provide you with the tools necessary to understand common basic motor control circuits. Although it is designed to provide a foundation for electricians who are just beginning to learn about motor controls, the material is also useful to Journeyman and Master Electricians for exam preparation.
